1. I alluded to the US having a role in repaying the "compensation" to Kuwait yesterday. In red below, it appears to me they are suggesting the same.

Informed the Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari Parliament that the abolition of the Security Council sanctions resolutions last month, marks the beginning out of Chapter VII, pointing out that the solution to the pending issues between Iraq and Kuwait in binary is possible but there are obligations that the settlement of certain issues under the umbrella of the United Nations.
Zebari said the host in the House of Representatives on Thursday that the U.S. side fulfilled a promise made to the government to remove Iraq from Chapter VII, indicating that the claim for compensation from the United States needs to work great and legal follow-up.
Zebari said that the visit of the Kuwaiti delegation was intended to offer congratulations and support and support for Iraq and the closure of the outstanding issues between the two countries is final.
