Hi all!
I wanted to let you know that some are asking me to post links to their Dinar related sites, or to post articles with links back to their Dinar sites. I certainly have a position on this, but I wanted to get your input on this as this has become more your site than mine. You've all outnumbered me!
The sites that people are asking me to provide links back to are Dinar related, but some are selling services or even buy and sell Dinar. My initial goal was to keep this site clean of ads or links to other sites that may sell services. Of course, I'm very willing to continue on that path, but I just wanted to touch base with each of you on this.
If you're inclined, please post your comments or thoughts. I will allow the majority vote to overrule my opinions on this matter.

ReplyDeleteI have been a dinar follower for sometime now, with Dinar Daddy as my main info site (level headed) and secondary as dinar vets (for when I want news articles or rumors or to see people get beat up.)
ReplyDeleteI have in the last few weeks started using your site as my primary with DD as 2 and DV as 3.
Your format is perfect. Please do not change anything. People come here because of what you put together. If you change it, then it will not be what we came here for.
I think that an article author should get a simple link to the original material, however please do not muck up your site with heavy ads, this will only promote bad intel from pumpers.
If people want more info, they should be able to click a link and go off into cyberspace chasing rumors. It is not your job to shepherd users.
Thank you for your clean and lite site which works perfectly on my phone, iPad, and home tower (I'm a mac guy) and for your personal take on the dinar game.

ReplyDeleteOh please don't change a thing. Your literate synopsis of the many pieces that are so poorly written that their meaning is unclear is much needed. I was so relieved someone did this and you do a GREAT job. You don't need others trying to redirect us elsewhere - enough already.

I do also realize those requests likely come with some financial compensation for you. I do love our country, our freedom, and capitalism works well. If you choose to add banners, please make them small & not intrusive.

ReplyDeleteThanks to you and everyone for your compliments and feedback! I appreciate it very much. One thing I should have said is that none of the offers had anything to do with compensating me. I think there is more on an interest on their part to "advertise" their sites. I would never take a penny from anyone for doing this. It's all a part of me not wanting to advertise anything here.

ReplyDeleteAs the second follower of this site I would not change a single thing!!!! If you are not making any money for advertising other peoples sites, then I wouldn't do it for a second! You put way more work into this little blog than any of those other site owners.... Think about how little time does DD put into his... Maybe and hour or to a day? and you are searching, reading, translating, and posting articles for us ALL DAY!! You are awesome and I hope people understand and respect the amount of work and effort you put into this!!! YOU ROCK!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for you kind remarks and compliments. You all win! Ok. Just so that we're all on the same page .... I definitely do not have any intentions of placing any ads on this site. The majority of the people who are asking me to place either articles or links back to their sites sell some sort of service, but do have Dinar related information. Dinar Daddy is one example. I do use articles or postings from his site from time to time, and I link back to his site. Are you ok with that? If so, I may post something from another site and have it link back to that site just as I do with every blog entry today. The blog would be exactly what you see today. The source would just be from the other site. That said, I will not provide a direct link to the site in a link list. I don't have such a list today and do not intend to create one since all my blog entries point back to the source. So, given that explanation, and knowing that I will not place advertisements, do I move forward with providing information from those other sites?

In my opinion Dinar Daddy does not post much of his own researched articles. He just posts articles from all the other Dinar sites.

When looking at charts, you should attempt to make predictions. Note these predictions and compare them per week later using the new charts. If you are near every time, think about yourself a skilled trader. If you are off, attempt to comprehend why and evaluate the situation in retrospect, to ensure that you'll recognize exactly the same kind of scenario later on.
