2-9-11 Allawi: Amend the strategic council draft law to be acceptable to all parties

1. A deputy of State Law said the law precludes a Parliament vote on Allawi as strategic policy council leader
2. He said the draft law of the political Council of strategic policies cannot be voted as being above the Constitution and therefore cannot be voted on in or out of Parliament
3. He said the draft act of the National Council of strategic policy states that the powers of the President of the Council is above the 3 presidential powers
4. Given 3, he said he did not believe there will be a vote in Parliament unless the draft was modified
5. The List was invited to see to amend the draft so that it is acceptable to all blocs
6. The deputy said the National Alliance is committed to Barzani's initiative and pointed out that it did not include voting on the strategic policies within Parliament
