3-4-11 My Last posting :(

Hello everyone,

This will be my last posting on this site. There are a few reasons for this. First, my schedule has been pretty hectic and I haven't been able to get to all of the articles that I feel you should know about. That has bothered me a lot. It make me feel guilty! Second, this obviously takes a lot of time, and it means time away from the family. Last, I believed for quite some time now that everything was finished. I was told this a while back before I started this blog. Since that time, I've written about quite a few news articles.

Much of what I've seen either made no sense or seemed like old news rehashed. When I say the articles didn't make sense, I don't mean that I didn't understand them. Rather, something just didn't seem right. Simply put. The news seemed made up. Today's news about Maliki meeting with the 3 security ministers was somewhat of the tipping point for me.

I think that news is GREAT on the one hand because we're really close to them actually admitting the GOI is done. On the other hand, being told that everything is done by a reliable source and reading and writing about these made up articles doesn't seem right because I don't believe the articles.

I've enjoyed helping those who benefited from the time I've spent on this site, and I've really enjoyed exchanging messages with some of you have emailed me. This has been a great experience in the short time it lasted. However, the better half of me just can't write another entry on articles that really aren't leading us to the truth. This is not to say that 100% of the articles are incorrect or false. But, it's my belief that enough are false such that we can't piece things together accurately enough to bring this home.

If you don't believe that, look at the best analysts there are out there. There are many. Each one of them has been wrong at one time or another. Every "RV must happen marker" has been wrong. It's not that they are bad analysts. In my opinion, it's just that we're given a very small amount of hidden and obscure truths and a lot of untruths. The net effect is that it makes it impossible for anyone to use articles to piece the puzzle together and get it right. Of course, the "Iraq factor" makes a liar out of the best of the analysts/gurus!

Given that, I'm left with just waiting for the moment! This journey has a positive end. I just don't know when it will end. But, when it does happen, I'll be happy that you all were patient and smart enough to wait this out so that you get to benefit from your investment. Of course, I'll be happy with my investment too! Be smart with your money and enjoy it for the rest of your lives! Lastly, don't forget that it is better to give than it is to receive!

Take care,

Justwaitingforit

  2. You Rock!
If you can at least put up any Rumor stuff from Okie, that would be great.

  3. Just read your post, and am sad you're retiring - though I certainly can understand! Your blog has been very helpful to me, providing information I don't find elsewhere and analyzing it in a way that makes as much sense of it as it seems possible to make. Many thanks for the service you have provided. I'll miss your posts, but your family will be glad to have you back. See you on the beach somewhere post-RV!

    Blessings,

    SW

  4. Just wanted to say thank you very much for all the effort that you have put in. I have to say that I will miss your summaries and daily recap of events. They have been some of the most informational reading I have done concerning this investment.

I can sure understand your frustration with all the crazy events that have been taking place over in that wacky country.

See ya on the flip side. Go-RV :)

  6. I can't blame you for wanting to step away from this. I have enjoyed reading your posts for several months now, and I will sorely miss it.

To echo what @Setman said, I constantly found information on this site that I didn't find anywhere else. I particularly enjoyed your candid opinions on the "news" stories that were coming out constantly. *cough cough* G.E.T. *cough cough*

Again, thank you for all the time you spent working on this blog. It was thoroughly enjoyed, and appreciated!

P.S. I will still keep an eye on it in case you ever change your mind (Say perhaps when things REALLY start to happen?) :)

  7. Your blog is the one I recommended when people did not have time to spend searching through a lot of sites. I have appreciated your perspective as well as the point-by-point layout. I will check in to see should you decide to post again. Thanks so much for a great contribution to the Dinar Investor World!!

  8. Just wanted you to know that I don't know you at all personally, but you are the only one I trusted on the net with any information. Maybe keep this site open and when it RV's you can in bold letters it's Happen just so I will believe it. Take Care and God Bless !!

  9. I'd like to echo the thoughts of many here and say I'm very sad to see you go. You've been a tremendous asset to this community and one I have turned to daily for timely and thoughtful insight on the latest "news".

I'll miss your blog and I'm sure other sites will miss you doing all the hard work for them *cough* Dinar Daddy *cough*. Thanks again for everything.

  10. Your blog has always been my first "go-to" page for info. So I will miss it. But I totally understand why you're stopping. I don't blame you at all. In the end, the news articles, the experts, the intel just doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is the final word when we see those magic numbers on the CBI screen. So again, your efforts were greatly appreciated but I can see why you're frustrated. All the best to you. Go RV!

  11. Good for you. Thanks for all the info you put out there. I love your blog, especially your format. Family hast to come first though!

  12. I thought you did an incredible job of trying to summarize all kinds of news. You really do have a remarkable talent of sifting through the news and making sense out of it. I gotta believe you spent a great deal of time posting and summarizing the news, and don't blame you one bit for walking away from it. This is by far the craziest investment I have ever been apart of, and sifting through the news and finding the truth is incredibly difficult and requires a great deal of patience. Bottom line, I can't tell you how much I looked forward to reading your post, and greatly appreciate all the work you put into this blog. Best blessings to you and your family

  13. Don't give up. I have several friends in Baghdad and an Iraqi friend of 15 years here in the US Having worked myself in Iraq for almost 5 years. I tell you this Iraqis have got to be the worlds best procrastinators. They can move when they want to but only if you have a gun to their head do they get the point. As my one Iraqi friend said "I hate to burst your bubble Ray but give it six months". We have waited this long . A little longer is not going to hurt. When I bought into the dinar I considered it to be a five year plan. And it is just about 4 years for me now. Six months from now puts me in the forecasted target date. To many people that are use to microwave popcorn expected a get rich quick scheme and whine when something doesn't happen over night. Hang in there.

  14. I will be sad to not see your comments and thoughts anymore but I TOTALLY agree with your mindset. You put alot of time into this and it was wonderful for us who were benefiting from your hard work. But family must come first! And I applaud you for that.

Side note- Train wreck, he didnt say he was giving up, just stopping the blog. ;-)

Justwaitingforit , Good luck with everything that you do both now and after rv! Enjoy it!!!!!!

  15. I will miss your intelligent summary's. You made it so easy to read without having to read all the goofy talk in between (the chats mostly) I quit the chat world long ago when I was thrown under the buss for asking a intelligent question. LOL I have as well been involved since 06.. a long road.
However on that note, there was a chat last night from night and xxxxx both saying exactly what you are saying. The news is false. I believe the poor press people need to fill up the media no mater how. Also I feel they have to keep the speculation down. Confusion is the best way. Creates doubt.
Well, I will miss you, but your family does come FIRST! Go enjoy em!!!!!
Don't be a stranger.. you have been a god send for a lot of us.

  17. Hello everyone!

Thank you very much for the kind words and compliments! It's very much appreciated. I had the hardest time today staying away from the computer and not blogging! But, I did spend an entire day with the family without any interruptions. Nevertheless, it was difficult as the guilt factor is pretty high at the moment.

I'll miss reading through your comments and the emails some have sent. You all entertained me with your comments! It's been a fun ride, but I certainly am ready to get off the ride when they pull that RV trigger.

As Butterfly said, I'm not getting out of the investment. I've just stopped blogging. I'm going to get some normalcy back into my life and wait for this to happen.

Best of luck to you all!

    Take care,
    Justwaitingforit

  19. You will be missed. It was by far my favorite post. It is abious that you spend lots of time finding and summarised all the news details.
I get your frustrations with all the stuff being reported specially on rumors like definitely RV next 48 hours because some at the bank told be this... all the Intel created just to get us excited.
You were balanced and honest in your reporting . thanks . I hope you come back but more importantly I pray you do what is best for you and your family. Again thanks and God bless and hope we get to meet on the other side of RV
