1. Maliki launched new reforms to upgrade the living standards of Iraq and to eradicate corruption
2. In a press conference, he stated that every minister should be held accountable for corruption
3. He proposed to reduce the retirement age from 63 to 61
4. He called to dissolve the municipal council and hold early provincial elections
5. Maliki said Nujaifi's call to hold early provincial elections was made upon the request of the GOI
6. He affirmed the nomination of the security ministers will be passed to Parliament next week for vote
7. He also announced he is willing to dismiss any minister who proves of a shortfall after the 100 day deadline he gave to his Cabinet
