1. President Jalal Talibani will travel to Egypt on Tuesday to attend the Arab League Economic Summit.
2. Talibani will call on the Arab leaders to support Iraq's bid for the restoration of its WTO membership
Recall not long ago that the WTO said that Iraq needed to close the gap between their currency and the US dollar. That's basically an RI/RV. It may take a while for Iraq to regain their status in the WTO, but closing the gap is something they must do prior to achieving the status of membership they desire in the WTO.
