1. First reading of the draft budget is complete, but there were objections and reservations from the Kurdish bloc
2. Objections to the financial share of the Kurdish region for export of oil
3. Kurd's also objected to the sovereign expenditure and government
4. Parliament postponed the vote on naming committees to next week due to differences between the List and the Kurds
5. The List and the Kurds want to take over the Presidency of the Legal council (this is the issue in 4 above)
2nd reading of the budget in 2 days
If you've read any of Frank26's postings, you know that he thinks the Kurds are in control of this whole thing. If they have issues, we'll need to wait until they get this sorted out before this budget comes to close. The budget is also another item that many think must be completed prior to the RV. There have been many delays related to the passing of the budget (present and past).
If you're in the camp that thinks that both the budget and the government must be fully completed, then you won't be watching for the Forex to change today. On the other hand, if you believe that there is a pre-RV going on in the ME right now, you just may want to watch for a change in Forex as it relates to the IQD.
