ReplyDeleteIf someone told you that everything that you read in the news regarding Iraq is not true, would you say that reading something in the news is factual and that is your method of verifying fact? If more than one person told you this and you trusted all of them, how would you then treat news as "factual" information? All of this information is being put out there for each person to judge for themselves whether it is useful for them or not. I believe the fact of the matter is that none of us truly know what is true and factual or not. I've been told by people that I trust that all of the news we are reading is not factual. Yet, that does not stop me from posting the news. Whether news or rumors are true or not, there is probably some small role it plays in this tangled mess. As I said before, each individual must decide on their own how they want to use the information.
