Highlights/Thoughts

1. Looking for a seated and announced GOI that talks to the world and not just themselves behind closed doors
2. Maliki is either a genius or a mad man
3. For the 3rd day in a row, they are CRITICIZING Maliki for what he has done
4. His team gets the feeling that few care about what Maliki did
5. Is the GOI or Maliki the hold up? In the beginning of December, the GOI said they were going on vacation. Then, at the end of December, they tell Maliki they need another vacation. Then, at the beginning of January, they extend their vacation to the 2nd week. Now at the end of January, they take even more time off
6. In two days, Maliki will make a speech, but not about the IQD. The speech will likely be related to security

Delta's report on Iraq TV:
1. More reports on the WTO
2. CBI is inviting the GOI to meet on Tuesday to discuss the independent bodies
3. GOI has no intentions of taking 100% control of the CBI
4. GOI is just responding to the Federal Court ruling
5. Maliki announced that the 2 remaining ministries will take another 2 weeks
6. In 2 weeks, Maliki will try to do everything in one basket
7. Maliki said that his plans are to have the Interior and Defense minister positions filled before the summit in March (Note: Remember, the summit is said to be scheduled at the end of March--not the beginning)
8. Delta shared an email regarding a bank confirmation related to increasing their banking reserves because they were informed the IQD would be coming online to exchange very soon

  1. It would be great if these rumors could be backed up by fact or at least a link to verify the validity of these statements. It is extremely unprofessional to post something that will and has effected others in a negative way.

  2. Delta is supposedly reporting what Iraq TV says. Unless he isn't being honest, you can probably assume that what he is reporting is at least factual from the standpoint of "it was said on TV". In my opinion, most won't believe something is true unless they experience it themselves. So the issue in that case is where to draw the line on what you believe are facts and what you do not believe are facts. It all boils down to the individual. You must let each person decide for themselves in the way that they are comfortable. That's my opinion!
