1. Maliki and Allawi met to discuss political compromises and the resultant agreements
2. Maliki confirmed the need to implement and abide by the agreement and noted the need to apply the bulk of the agreements through a national partnership to elect chairs, different positions, and by making some decisions
3. Maliki emphasized the need to build the strategic policy council in light of the political agreements reached by the Cabinet
4. Allawi called on Maliki to return some of the points at issue on the formation of the Council
5. It was agreed on the need to complete the agreements as soon as possible
