Highlights/Thoughts

I am posting this article because it states Ron Paul will have oversight of the Federal Reserve. Ron has said in the past that the Federal Reserve should be abolished. Is this the start of what was rumored to happen with global settlements and the elimination of the Federal Reserve? Interesting. Or, is this just a move by the Republicans to ensure that we don't print more money?

Highlights/Thoughts

The chat below is related to the global settlements. According to the lady on the GET call the other night, once the payments were sent out, we should see the currencies revalue among a number of other things.

1. This is in reference to an article published in December stating that the Paris Club forgave the remaining 20% of the debt
2. Enoch is saying that their currency hasn't been recognized yet because their credit has a C rating
3. In order for it to be recognized, it must have a higher rating
4. Iraq's credit rating should be upgraded this year
5. Iraq is waiting for the 2011 budget and final reports from 2010, Official Creditors and World Bank upgrades their credit rating, and the IMF upgrades Article XIV to VIII compliance
6. RV is 100% dependent on the World Recognition and credit rating

Enoch also mentioned that Iraq's debt to income ratio would be improved by the debt relief as well as from their oil reserves. Remember, they can now monetize their oil. On that note, there was an article published today that said they now have 500 bil barrels of oil!

1-20-11 Urgent: Iraq's Oil Reserve reach 500 billion (b) barrels, official

Highlights/Thoughts

1. Iraq's oil reserves are now 500 billion
2. Previous estimate was 143 billion

Please keep in mind that the IMF now allows these countries to monetize their oil. If this is a proven 500 billion, Iraq is not only the country with the most oil, but they are the richest.
